Snapped Shifter off the column..

Was fighting with the wife and triedbto get the hell out of there to diffuse the situation and for some odd reason when I put it into reverse it didn't do anything. Cycled it through the gears and nothing, and I must’ve slapped the shifter back up to park to hard and it sheared off the damned shifter including the pin. Found out pot metal doesn’t like to be welded…I can’t afford to pay 500+ on another column, I had somebody suggest putting a floor shifter in but I dont exactly know if that is feasible since it has the 4x4 shifter already on the hump.
Anyone have any idea how to set up a floor shifter or have any other idea of temporary solution since this truck is my daily driver.

A few details on the truck:
1970 C10
TH350
Its been converted to a 4x4
