Wiper Transmission/Relay arms
Hey all, cleaned up my wiper transmission arms and have a question.. there is a small black plastic "bushing" on the shaft where the wiper blade arms mount and over the 50+ years, it's disintegrating. What is that for and what are people using to replace it? Is it needed?

Re: Wiper Transmission/Relay arms
Try some heat shrink tubing.
On the other seal: If that's the seal to the motor output shaft, my most recent rebuilt purchase doesn't have that installed. Now I am thinking of getting one as I didn't know they were available. I would imaging it would be a good idea as I doubt the rebuilt unit is sealed internally.

Re: Wiper Transmission/Relay arms
Yeah, I figured it might have just been protection for it vs the cowl. As for seals, I have the waxy one, but not the rubber one.
