Q-Jet Carb Question??
Anyone know where this arm is supposed to be attached to? It appears it would go to the arm coming off that vacuum canister, but im not sure. I am having problems with my choke not coming off enough on a cold start and thought this may be part of the problem since it is connected to it in some way.
thanks, Ron

That arm looks like it should go the the Rear barrel block off wich will prevent the rear barrels from opening untill its warmed up see that peice that goes to the chrome round bar on the end of the rear butterfly on this side it might attach to it Was the engine warm when you took that pic? also with the engine off and cold open the throttle to full and see if the back barrels are opening if so then that part of the choke system isnt workin right.
hope this helps. |

That seemed like the obvious place for it. And now it seems that my choke is working properly now. That is great news. Thanks guys...
