Radiator shroud fit

Bought this shroud from LMC and cant figure out how to attach it. Doesnt come down far enough. Looks like the flange is about an inch short. Do they make a bracket to make it fit? I was thinking some spacers made from a piece of 1 inch pvc pipe

Re: Radiator shroud fit

Your just going to have to make some bracket that fit the holes for the radiator mount. then bend them to match the shroud mount with another set of holes in the bracket. Or return it for something else.

Re: Radiator shroud fit

I suggest to place some foam tape on the back side if it touches the rad anywhere. that will keep and vibration rattles down.
post up some pics of your fix, we'd all like to see how you got it rigged up.

Just used some 3/4 inch pvc pipe cut into 1 inch spacers. Got another question while I got you here. What do I use to plug the 2 holes in the lower radiator for transmission coolant lines?

Re: Radiator shroud fit

probably it is 1/2-20 threads, designed for 5/16 tubing size inverted flare connection

so look for '5/16 sae plug'
