Horn works randomly - Tilt Column
Looking for some help determining what I need to fix on my steering column. I have an 87' C10 with a stock column. The horn only seems to work randomly - it does seem to depend on what position its tilted to. If I tilt it up or down from the center, it works, if I leave it in the center tilt position, it doesnt work. Makes me think its related to the contact ring but not sure. I would not think the tilt position would matter.....but it seem to matter.
Any thoughts? |

Re: Horn works randomly - Tilt Column
clean the contacts on the ring and the wire that goes down to the contact ring id als make sure theres enough tension on the spring to make sure the pressure is always on the ring with the contact
