Thanks for fast reply..
Yea i called one place and they told me they would charge $625.00 to take the tranny out clean it up and look at it. the guy said that was just for labor. He said it was cost more for parts. I was wondering how much more for parts.lol thats the trick to it. I priced a remanufactured tranny and they told me 1,500. |

I got a 93 fullsize blazer 5speed.
My synchronizers are going bad in 3rd and 4th gear in the getrag tranny also. Are you recommending I look for a used tranny at a junkyard instead of dropping it and getting the synchronizers replaced? |

Check the costs both ways; I've never found a time when I could'nt buy one cheaper than it could be repaired. (Parts plus labor.) Might even find one here on the board near you. Someone had one just last week, if I'm not mistaken......S/S
