Kick Panel Air Vent Handles

My 1978 C20, with no AC, has plastic pull handles to open or close the kick panel air vents. First one, then the other one, broke more than 20 years ago. Since then I opened them manually when the floor was too hot and closed them manually when the floor was too cold. An annoyance, but, just one more for the list. While looking thru an LMC catalog recently I accidentally found replacements so ordered them. Nothing has to be taken apart. They easily snap in place. Amazing! Why did I not look for this 20 years ago?

I often accept things that are wrong because I am not interested in looking into how to fix. Maybe this will teach me to will get better at that.
