71 blazer windshield frame usable?

What do you guys think I should/could do with this windshield frame? Do I need to patch in some areas of it? I know I've seen worse but just don't know what you guys have done with similar ones. Thanks!

That upper pinch weld has swelled with rust. That will need to be addressed before a seal goes on it. I'd be concerned with the upper interior section. That is a known problem area with these. Fortunately new panels are available.

agreed, if the outside is like that the inside may be extremely thin or pin-holed up. If I recall, there are three layers of metal and the interior one is the one that really just rots away.

Yeah, here are the inside corners of that frame. Doesn't look that bad but won't really know until I sand blast it I guess.

I put a repo header in my blazer because it was too far gone. Start poking around with a screwdriver if you go through anywhere get rid of it.
