Go to the junkyard and get another, or ask on the parts board, they are a dime a dozen. Whats wrong with it?

hey, you can get a complete cluster for like 25 or 30 bucks. with a speedo. everybody has like 3 laying around. they are a dime a dozen. just ask for a cluster... im sure somebody has an old non gauges or even a gauges one laying around

I have read that sometimes if you warm old speedos up gently and keep them warm for a while it can loosen them up (not specifically Chevy truck ones I hasten to add) I think it just warms and melts any old congealed grease inside them and makes it flow around a bit. Can't hurt to leave it on top of a warm heater overnight . Disclaimer: If your speedo melts I take no responsibility!
