That link dont do nothing here just takes me to a new post form.
All the am fm cb radios i ever seen were in caddilacs and they were junk as far as the cb feature went

FWIW, they had those radios in the late 70's Corvette's also. My 78 had one, and they were junk.

Yeah i just dont see them workin well cant really tune them to get any extra watts and the ones i seen were 23ch and forget about getting extra channels let alone the full 40

I have an 81 1/2 ton truck, factory diesel truck. It has a Factory Am/Fm CB unit in it. Its listed on the glove box door.

I believe it was a dealer installed option...my chalet had one in it when i bought her. They used a factory fender mount antenee on the drivers side fender....crap i agree...but for the 70's it worked really good. I actually used mine on trips until i opted for a 87 K5 stock radio...new cb is in the works....i like the newer one with the lighted face...so you can see what you are doing at night...had one in my 79 for a few years now and i'm quite pleased. And i have found coupled with a 150watt linear...truck drivers think you are another fellow trucker until you tell them you are right behind them....lol.
