Anyone tried this column swap?
Thinking about trying a 88-98 manual trannied tilt steering column swap into my 70. Reasons behind this are the addition of intermittent wipers, no shifter linkages to hide, key access on the column, and would generally allow me to unclutter the dash.
So anyone attempted or suceeded?

Sorry to jump in to your thread but the subject fits
How about a tilt column from a 68 impala? Will it fit our trucks?? I know where one is and wonder if it is worth pulling. Thanks! |

Well, I'm going with a new Painless wirng kit, so I'll be starting from scratch anyway. It's only a little bit of extra time.
