Another inch!
Started body work on cab. I'm real lucky that most paint is original and only one minor rust fix where water gathered in the driver's side door sill. Had to cut out and fab the metal strip that the weatherstripping wraps around. It's also pretty damn straight as well for a 30+ year old vehicle
Being originally from the midwest, I REALLY appreciate the lack of rust in many older vehicles here in northern CA. I have read many posts of projects that needed major "surgery" due to rot and sympathize cuz I have been there too! Anyway......not the most exciting pics, but making progress.

Wow, even in the south we rarely find cabs that clean. Good find, and keep us up to date on your progress.

Nice....shaved gas filler?
I may have to make a trip to the southwest one of these days.....stupid MO salt The only thing that should be subjected to this cancerous hell are new trucks! Not precious old trucks, lol.

Yeah...my parents new trucks are covered too, lol. Along with my '72. But it is already rusting anyway. A little more can't hurt, lol.
