WAYYYY OT!! have you guys seen the new quiznos commercial

ok i had to tell ya'll about htis one ,, it is a quiznos sub commercial with these little rodent looking things with really messed up teeth ,, i think the one playing the guitar is wearing a pirates hat they sing about bringing in oil change coupons for a dollar off a sandwich and stuff , well i had to find this commercial on the net , but i couldnt , i did however find the first thing these little critters were in , they sang a song called we like the moon ,the commercial had me laughing so hard i was dang near crying i have heard people talking about this commercial calling t retarded , but i think they had an excellent idea , that comercial will go down in the books as one of the wierdest ever , and any publicity is ood publicity ,, dang that thing sticks in youre head, the moon song sounds identile to the commercial song besides the words here is a link to it , if anyone finds the commercial please post it here ,, i gotta see it again

I love those spongmonkeys!! I have been playing that saong in the house for the last week. The Moon Song is halarious!! My wife wants to kill me, she is very tired of hearing that song. I love it. I play it wat work in the background and it drives everyone else nuts too. With that commercial, you either like it, thinks it the very funny, or you hate it. There doesn't seem to be any in between. If you go to www.rathergood.com there are other animation somgs too. They are just as funny. But the moon song has to be my favorite.

I think it's really generational. The older generation thinks it's gross and dumb, while the younger one thinks it funny. It doesn't make me want to eat subs, but it does keep them in oyur head. The song is so bad it's catchy. It gets into your head, and you just keep singing it. I think it's a great marketing idea. I went to quiznos on Friday just cuz I had that song in my head all day.

They are definately micro marketing to the teen market segment. There is some cross over however, I think its so stupid it's funny. Thanks Mac, now I have that moon song stuck in my head

I'm old, but I think it's hilarious. I agree - it's got nothing to do with the sandwiches, but it's funny. Quizno's has always had some pretty strange advertising.

i think they are saying in there that they will accept coupons for oil changes , pony rides , or hair plugs , any coupon gets you a dollar off a sub

i have always liked quizno's commercials (remember the sub with "lettuce"? ), and this is no exception. the first time i saw it, i was like "wtf?" but it was so funny because it has nothing to do with quizno's. at all. its like a breath of fresh air compared to other fast food advertisements (the gay arby's oven mitt, mcdonalds always with little kids, subway with that idiot jared, etc etc etc) which are all run of the mill. their advertising dept did their job IMO because Quizno's isn't a big name company but their commercials do bring them attention. if there was a quizno's within 20 miles of me I would consider eating there sometime, but there isn't, so i have never sampled it at all. is it any good?

ya know quiznos just opened two of their restaurants in my area and we ( me the kids and old lady went down to go check em out and frankly their sandwiches are quite good. then they started with the singing rats that other than the fact that youve got rats advertising food, you cant really understand the words they are trying to sing ( although i am kinda hard of hearing with certain things and i may be waaay off base there) and since then i cant bring myself to go back.. the thought of rats in the restaurant. I even emailed them about how horrible i thought the commercials were and recieved no reply in return ( not that i expect one big business is awful cocky ) and i have yet to eat there again. the whole concept of that advertising campaign escapes me. funny thing is i havent seen much of their ads lately on the tv but ive heard a radio spot where some woman is lamenting on how she has a coupon for getting her male dog fixed but the coupon allows her to get $1 off her sandwich. I guess some moron ad exec thinks this kind of stuff is funny Ill just say my peice by not buying Quiznos until they come up with a more "appetizing" ad campaign

A couple of singing rats definately does not make me want to go to Quiznos any more than I did before. That commercial almost makes me not want to go there again.

I used to go to Quiznos... but not while that commercial is playing.. it makes me queasy lol. I tried to go.. but I kept thinking of those rats. I Wrote them and ask them to change it. That is something I NEVER do. Several people at work hate it too.
If it was something other than food... they would be pretty funny.

i think it is a funny commercial and is up there with the bud light "real men of genius" commercials. being 19 and 40 miles from the nearest quiznos neither has an effect on me
