Any of the board vendors will have the "panhard" bar bushings.

The French firm of Panhard and Levassor was one of the original pioneers of the automobile industry in operation from 1891 to 1967. The company was taken over by Citroën in the 1960's and ceased car building operations in 1967 although the company still builds military vehicles. I can only assume that they invented this way of locating an axle. http://www.citroen.mb.ca/citroenet/html/p/panhard.htm for more details!

well that makes sence...file that in the very back part of my memory...I remember the old Citroens..they used to raise the rear end automatically when accelerated..and lower when stopped...or was it the other way around?

Ahh the old Hyrdro pneumatic suspension, was only used on the certain of their cars but was great fun. Pressurised and roise up to driving height when you started the engine and sunk back down when the engine stopped. You also had some manual control and could raise it up realy high to get some extra ground clearance IIRC you could even raise one wheel to change a tyre! Barking mad and a plumbing nightmare.
