I got my new rims on saturday,I went with the 17x9 with the 4.5'' backspacing, put them on my truck they fit perfect.now all I have to do is get some tires,I think I will go with 275/40R17 I have 265/50R15 now on my truck so I want around the same height and was wondering if anyone new where to get tires that are not cheap but not to expensive.

I know a 255/50 BFG comp TA KDWS usually runs right at $150 per tire at Discount tire. That is the tire they used on the 94-96 Impala SS. I think it may fit what you are looking for.

Grim, that is probably correct. My car had Comp TA's from the factory, and I just remember the replacements being KDWS's.
