Jumping K5

I know most of you guys/gals are rock crawlers or just plain nice truck makers but here's what I'm planning on doing to my '72. Got this from the guy selling it. From the pictures I've seen it is one sweet rig.

Just thought you'd get a kick out of one of our rigs doing some dune running/jumping.

Cool!! Wish we had sand dunes around here, they look easy on the truck's suspension.

LOL Definitely not easy. That "easy" look is the product of a lot of $ and tuning put into the suspension. If most of us tried that we'd be spraying driveline parts all over the dune.

Yeah it's an all around bad a@@ blazer. It's a 383 and I don't know what kind of exhaust it's running. I wish I had the cash to take it off of his hands.

I like it. But it is a bit flat down here for serious rock crawling. There are not to many places in the sand for jumping. I will be building my new 72 for the swamps. It will also look good but be very practical.

That's cool wornbrakes. Make sure we see some pics when you're done. I myself am not much of a rock crawler mainly because I don't want to damage the sheetmetal on my rig. I'm more of a high speed desert guy. That's the great thing about K5's, they can be used to do just about anything.

Sure enough. The best 4x4 built IMO. It just took forever for me to finally be able to get the one I wanted.

You know what? I couldn't tell you for sure. I've only talked to him a few times on the net. He said he's taken it out to Glamis quite a bit though so that could be right.
