I have a 78 Gmc,with new motor with only 20,000 miles on it. I originally bought the trufck to work in,but ended up fixing it up a bit. It has been recently painted and has been driven back and forth to harrodsburg,ky (bout 250 miles each way or so) several times from my home in Indianapolis,and I wouldnt be afraid to drive it anywhere at all. Since i have had it,i have put a new gas tank and sending unit on it,new cab corners,rockers,fenders,replaced the bed,tailgate,dual exhaust,new tires and several other things. It does have ac,but I think it needs some work to function properly,but all the lines and compressor are all still there. Also,I think as a rarity,the original bench seat (vinyl or leather) seems to be in perfect condition under the saddle blanket seat cover. The only problem i can really say about the truck is I think it needs a carb rebuild. If anyone is interested,email me at iufan71@hotmail.com. I cant take anything less than $1,500 for it.

I come to Harrodsburg quite often,If you are truly interested,i could drive the truck down there one weekend,and maybe you could meet me in louisville,thats bout a halfway point between austin,and indy. I have been thinking bout getting my brothers friend to rebuild the carb for me.

We are wanting to buy a house here in indy,and my dad has an old 56 apache i am wanting to fix up. So the 78 would be the first to go. I will try to post pics this weekend for anyone interested in my truck.
