im thinking about getting the universal dash wiring kit #30301. does anyone have pics or any info on them? i see the pic in jegs and i assume the red ends connect to the gauges but does the tan end connect directly to the stock connector or how do you hook up that end. i have a 79 K10, let me know if you have any other info.

The universal guage harness is for aftermarket guages not factory guages. It looks like this:

i know the red ends mount to the autometer gauges which i have. where do the yellow/tan ends mount. do you use the 3 rows of metal pieces to make the other end of the plug in connector?

you will have to cut the factory plug end off and install the connector onto that in its place,it makes for quick install and can be disconnected easy.
