Front End Ubolts
that hold the spring perches on. Are they special or do most auto parts stores carry them? I was coming back from lunch into the parking lot at work and made a left turn and bamm. I heard something break. I couldn't straighten the front end with the steering wheel. The one on the front of the right side snapped off. I guess I should be glad I wasn't going down the interstate. Any answer would be appreciated. Kerry

Ive herd of this happening to others. Apparently you can lose control of the truck. If these u-bolts are original they should be replaced. I will be doing mine asap.

Wow I thought I had read every post so
far guess that the important one was the one I missed. I found a replacement U bolt at the local 4x4 shop. Now that the truck is home, I am going to have Pro Trucks make me three more. Thanks guys for the input. What happened was scary to say the least. Everyone needs to check their truck. When I pulled the broken one off, I found out that it had a crack that finally caused the bolt to break. It was rusted half way through, so it had been that way for along time. Kerry
