Best way to get to dash lights
I have a few lights out on my dash,and am wondering the best way to get to the bulbs,so i could replace them?

If it is a 73-87 I would suggest pulling the instrument cluster, pulling the cluster is fairly simple and it makes getting to the lights a lot easier.

since you have to change the bulbs anyeay, You should do the fulldash light upgrade. Severl people here have done it and rave about it.

You can reach about half of them by reaching you hand up behind the dash.
It's best though to pull the dash apart from the front. If you do it this way, you can pull all of the guages out, and theb turn your lights on to make sure that you got all of the bulbs working. Also, it's a good opportunity to wipe the guages and clean since you're in there, clean you plastic lense, and clean out all the dust in the inside. Don't use a wet towel on the guages though, it will wipe the paing off. Just use a dry towel. Hope this helps. Bob
