Installing a cd player???
How do i install a cd player in my truck? DO i have to cut the dash? The truck is an 80.

You could always use an FM-modulated CD changer instead. The controller mounts on the dash with adhesive. This works really well if you have a center console.
It's how I did mine...

I left my stock radio in the original dash mount
as a theft deterrent, I mounted the Real CD- MP3 in the glove box and the amps/speakers behind the seat. |

yes the dash has to be cut if you want to put a cd player in the original radio spot. if done right will look like it came from the factory. you need a dremal moto tool. it makes the job alot easier. just outline the outside of the metal cage that holds the radio and cut away!

Nvbowtie - how do you change tracks, volume ect? do you use a remote?

Remote sounds rediculous, and did to me, until I tried it. It is nice to adjust volume, tracks, etc. without even looking. I just rest my hand on it. Good luck.
