Grill Trim Question

The chrome grill/headlight trim on passenger side of my 82 doesn't seem to want to stay flat against the fender. My only reference source, besides you folks, is the LMC catalog. It looks like there might be some clips (according to LMC) that hold it on, but I am not sure how they are held to the trim.

Do they just sort of slide in thethe back side of the trim piece or is there some special tab/piece (that I might be missing) to attach these clips too.

I am just trying to figure out if I need the whole trim piece or maybe just some clips.

Thanks

the corners should have a white peice of plastic stuff that slide between the two ends of the chrome peice. There are plastic nuts that hold the rest of the chrome molding flush with the fender.
