Lowered Burb
Hey guys I'm new to the board and was wondering if any of you could help me out. My son and I have a 1991 Suburban that we are looking to trick out a bit. It's not a 4x4 (which I would lift instead) but it's a well kept 2wd so were looking to do a slight drop 3/4 and put some 20's on it. I have seen a TON of 92' thru 04' like this but very few 74-91's.
I'm wondering if any of you have pics or know of anyone that has one. Here are some pics of our 91' Any help is appreciated. |

heres some pics of mine, spindels and springs in front axle flip w/ hangers in rear
  dont mind the primer in the middle of shavin and fixin some rust. i have bags waiting to go on so pretty soon it should set a little lower |

belive it or not they were 18's , they looked like 15's, ive since sold them and am lookin for some 20's

Wow your right they do look small for 18's.. Yeah 20's will make a big difference.
Who makes the drop kit ? Is it a 4/6? |

both nice looking burbs! i am also interested in seeing more pics & info, i've got a '91 also. by measuring my wheel wells my back end sits lower than the front now & i want it level. what does yours measure beermonkey & what is the drop please?

Hi guys,
Nice to see other guys with older custom burbs. I have a 90 with 2.5" springs in front and 4" shackle and hanger kit in back. I am runnin 15's with 245/60 front and 275/60 in back. Hoping to get 20's soon!  I wish I had some pics, maybe put some up later. Hey beermonkey did you purchase that roll pan or make it yourself? Steel or fiberglass? I want to install a roll pan on mine. Looks good man!!

it came with the roll pan its a sir michals (at least thats what the sticker that was on it when i bouhgt the truck says) somebody molded it in , looks like it was done many years ago, very dented and banged up, ill be putting a new one on when it gets painted. as for tirs size i have snow tires on it now. the rear are 225/75/15's and they tuck about 3/4 of an inch and the fronts are 235/70/15's and have about 2 1/2's inches to the fender

dropped90 , does your gas tank hang way down like mine? if so did you move it? ill be puting mine on bags soon and i need to move the tank up.

im goin to either cut my floor and pull the take up inside or get a fuel cell. i also want a hitch but i need one of those hidden ones too. i figured ill do it all when it grts painted
