Welcome to the site and congrads on the new truck. Everyone is right on the price. You could make a big profit in parts alone. Iam in ne tenn not far from nc line the trucks you find in this area are usally rusted so far there gone.

When I got my 71 Nova it didn't have a title either. The last time it was registered was in 92. Luckly I found the registration from 92 in it. Went to the DMV and paid 8 bucks for a title search and found out it was still titled in 92 owners name even though it had changed hands atleast 4 times in that time period. Called him up and had him sign a power of attorney took it back to the DMV and 3 weeks later had a new title in my hand.
Kindof a long story but as long as the wife's name is on the title she can sign some sort of power of attorney for you. (hopefully N.C. has something like this)
