Re: what's a good price for a step bed
Considering how hard it is to find 67 Step fenders I would say its a good deal. Rust free is always a plus too.

Re: what's a good price for a step bed
In your area that's a steal (assuming it really is rust free.)
I paid $300 for a set of rust free 67 rear fenders.

Re: what's a good price for a step bed
I have a step short bed w/out the spare tire fender though I would like a fleet bed. That being said I would ask $450.00 for mine. It is in such great shape though, I'll keep it, But that's what I would ask.

Re: what's a good price for a step bed
That`s the best price you`ll ever find.I sold a clean`67 original paint fender for $300 last summer.I`ve found bed for $300 in Texas.Shipping was $500+/- and that was before Katrina.

Re: what's a good price for a step bed
3 bills is a sweet deal if it is just a useable bed... let alone a restorable one.

Re: what's a good price for a step bed
That's a smokin deal. I paid 4 bills for mine and I live in the land of "no rust". It had some minor rust... and I doubt very much any "stock" piece of sheetmetal from 67-72 has no rust.

Re: what's a good price for a step bed
Sounds like a good deal to me. I don't need another one and I would pay that for one for a future project or investment.
I bought a rust/dent free '68 step-side bed with a tailgate from a guy in St. Louis for $500. All it needs is a paint job and bed wood. All the dents have been removed, it is primed and wet sanded. He brought it down to me when he picked up a cab from us. Danny

Re: what's a good price for a step bed
good bed.. paid $2.75 rust free with one dent the size of a quarter on right fender, wood gone but strips are there, tail gate is alittle ruff but rust free.the only bad thing is it's a 68 not a 67 but i can deal with that
ps what is the diffrence between a 68,69,70,71,72 s/step? the marker lens has 68 on them Brock396 |

275 sounds like a heck of a deal. You've already said the only difference... the side markers, just cut em out and patch 'em in and you've got a 67 bed ![]()
