My buddy keeps pressing me to lower it max. I'm "guess-timating" and with the 75 series tires on it (they'll later be replaced with 70's) I know I need more than 3". WITH lowering springs I suppose I can get 6"?? But I do NOT want to be driving a pain in the butt vehicle. All advice appreciated. |

Re: Solid axle guys....shocks??
A 3" dropped axle and a set of posies leaf springs, along with 70 series tires would net you a drop do 5-6 inches both front and rear and you'd still be able to haul and tow. The post on the HAMB from The Syndicate on his shop truck build is one you should check out if you haven't done so already.

Re: Solid axle guys....shocks??
here ya go man. He had mono's all around and loved it, but couldn't haul a load so he swapped them out. You can see the difference in the stance after he changed them. It's one of my favorite build threads
