I like rally's myself. But it's really a personal choice. Craters don't look bad either.

I'll put my vote in for the rallys. Imo they look better on a stock truck.

And another vote for rally's. But choose what you like most and who cares what others prefer. It's your truck.

Re: Rallys vs Cragar SS - lets hear from you!
I chose the rally wheels for my '72. But I was considering the original Cheyenne hubcaps with white walls.
If I were to consider Cragar S/S as an option, I would definitely want the larger diameter versions. |

Cragars on 1 side rallys on the other. after all you cant look at both sides at the same time. lol. Probably wouldn't handle very well though.

Re: Rallys vs Cragar SS - lets hear from you!
Just roll with one set and when you get bored swap them out…seems like an affordable way to mix things up if you already own both sets.
I personally prefer the rallies, but they both look good to me.

Re: Rallys vs Cragar SS - lets hear from you!
I have always loved the Cragers but will never run a wheel that can't be maintained with just soap and water again. The only way to really polish a Crager is to take it off.

Re: Rallys vs Cragar SS - lets hear from you!
I run the 15x8 rallys with 275/60/15's all around. I will probably change at some point, but I remember the cragers well. Mostly I remember how hard it was to balance them, and how easy to bend them. They also seemed too common, everybody had them. I hated the appliance 5-spoke, and got some Rocket's instead. Same problem with vibration, but looked better imho. My vote is rally's until you see something that knocks your socks off enough to change. Rallys are dependable, universal, and changeable, i.e. color, spinner caps, no caps, no trim, etc...

Re: Rallys vs Cragar SS - lets hear from you!
Ralleys....I prefer the truck type (10 slot) over the van type (15 slot).

Re: Rallys vs Cragar SS - lets hear from you!
6 lugs have the 10 slots, 5 lugs have the 15 slots (iirc). Van or truck does not make a difference, other than the van rallies were 6.5" wide as opposed to 7" or 8".

Re: Rallys vs Cragar SS - lets hear from you!
Thanks for the response LeddZepp. I'm going to show a picture of your truck to my daughter and if she likes the look, i'm headed in that direction with my/her 72 SWB Fleet.
cheers
