I agree with Orrie. Restore that truck back to factory or let some else that will. GM might want that back.

As mentioned, it was the 50th yr of chevy, also known as their golden jubilee. They had special cars and trucks to commemorate the milestone.

There has to be some kind of Chevy museum, or even Chevy themselves that should have someone that would know.
Chevy historian, or museum curator should have, or be able to find the numbers.

I agree with Orrie, if you can't do it, find someone who can. Chevy might want it back.

I read that it was a one car/truck per dealership.

On two of the pics posted the firewall was gold, but the firewall on the EBay truck was white from the seam down. Makes me think it was probably a white truck and the gold was added at some point, maybe even by the dealer. Good looking truck either way.

Closer inspection on mine looks kike it may have been all gold then the honey beige was applied over the lower half.

I don't recall ever seeing an air filter like that.
It looks like an oil bath with a paper pre-filter on top.
Who can explain what it really is?

I had one of those types of air cleaners on a inline six I had a few years back
