UY1 dumped a slide-in camper pigtail out between cab and bed as mentioned above - it did not go to the rear of the truck for a trailer. And in 65-71, Z81 meant the camper nameplate (65 was a 1 year only emblem, 66-68 types were the same, then 69-71 were the same) replaced the fender trim emblem. In 72, Z81 moved to the stand-alone above-the-door-handle script location. I wouldn't hesitate at all to convert that thing to a gauge package dash Greg - and I don't think it would hurt originality value at all. Yeah, it would bug me a little that the original guy didn't order it, but I'm pretty sure I'd get over it. Sounds like a nice truck.
