Brake Lines Question: What's Diff betwn 3/4 and 1/2 Lines?
Hey Board,
I have a 3/4 ton C20 project (1969). I've swapped in disc brakes all around (72 c20 up front, 76 caddy eldo in rear). It's still an 8-lugger but by no means intended as a work truck. I'm about to order all new brake lines in stainless. Aftermarket only really offers lines for C10 1/2 model -- or at least companies like LMC identify what they offer as for 1/2 ton use explicitly. I can't imagine why 1/2 ton lines won't work. Am I missing something? Thx BDD

If you are going FROM drum front and back to disk front and back you have a few more things to consider.
The bore size on your master, proportioning valve, and line diameter according to bore size on your master; unless you have bought a kit where someone has that all figured out? |
